Hauppauge Traffic Court

Hauppauge traffic court

Hauppauge Traffic Court. We can help reduce your points and fines at the Hauppauge Traffic Court. Also, we can appear so you don’t have to go to court.

The Hauppauge traffic court is known as the Suffolk County Traffic and Parking Violations Agency (SCTPVA). The SCTPVA cannot discuss matters by phone. However, you can hire local attorney, such as our law firm, to contact the court and deal with your traffic tickets. We go to court for you so that you don’t need to go to court and we offer a free initial legal consultation about your traffic tickets.

SCTPVA was created by legislation on April 1, 2013. SCTPVA adjudicates parking summonses, red light camera citations and moving violations in the five western towns of Suffolk County. It is its goal to provide an efficient and expeditious service for adjudication of the above violations.

Mission Statement: “To adjudicate parking, red light camera and vehicle and traffic
law violations in a timely, fair and impartial manner, while promoting pedestrian and vehicular safety through education.”

The SCTPVA is a court of record and cannot discuss pending matters over the telephone. No specific matters may be addressed via the telephone. If you call the agency, you will be provided with recorded information. Typically, you must appear in person (or send a lawyer) at the agency to address your question or request.
